1. Calbee’s approach to respect for ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights and how we have come to establish this policy

The Calbee Group upholds the “Calbee Group Code of Conduct” based on the corporate philosophy, which states, “We are committed to harnessing nature’s gifts, to bringing taste and fun, and to contributing to healthy life styles.” We strive to achieve a sustainable society through co-creation with stakeholders, bringing new value derived from nature’s gifts. We acknowledge the potential for direct or indirect impact on ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights in all business activities within our value chain, and we take responsibility to respect the ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights of all those who are involved in our business operations.

In October 2021, the Calbee Group incorporated respect for ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights in the Calbee Group Code of Conduct. To promote more specific actions taken with both internal and external stakeholders, we amended and established the Calbee Group Procurement Policy and the Calbee Group Palm Oil Procurement Policy in April 2022. Subsequently in March 2024, we established the Calbee Group ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights Policy based on our corporate philosophy and the Code of Conduct as well as in response to the external environment.

In formulating the policy, a ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights workshop was held for company executives to identify important ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights issues, and the policy was approved by the Board of Directors after receiving advice from expert.
We will continuously conduct ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights due diligence to monitor ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights impact and review the Policy on an ongoing basis. In addition, we have signed the UN Global Compact in conjunction with the establishment of the ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights Policy and declared, both internally and externally, our commitment to address the 10 principles in four areas of the UN Global Compact, including ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights.

2. How Calbee is pursuing ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights initiatives

We launched a Project to Promote Respect for ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights in FY2024, with Makoto Ehara, representative director, president & CEO of Calbee, Inc., as the project owner. The cross-divisional project team is comprised of staff from Risk Management, Procurement, Corporate Planning, ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットesources, Sustainability Promotion, and the team will report the progress of the project to the Management Council and the Board of Directors.

3. Conducting ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights due diligence

We will conduct ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights due diligence based on the Project to Promote Respect for ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights. Currently, we take the following actions to perform ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights due diligence for our business partners and some of our employees.

1. CSR procurement self-assessment
With the amendment to the Calbee Group Procurement Policy in April 2022, we have started assessments of our main business partners, using the CSR self-assessment tool provided by the Global Compact Network Japan. We included our own questions in the assessments. We will review the results and then request those partners who may not be making sufficient efforts to respect ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights to make improvements, and provide individual follow-up support.

2. Visits to palm oil plantations and mills

The Calbee Group uses approximately 6% of palm oil imported to Japan for a cooking oil used in its production process. Palm oil, which is the most largely used cooking oil in the world, is produced mainly in Indonesia and Malaysia. In the cultivation and production of oil palm trees from which palm oil is made, concerns have been raised about deforestation caused by the development of plantations, the loss and degradation of biodiversity resulting from the development of new peatland forests, as well as ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights violations such as forced labor and child labor. To address this situation, we had dialogue with our business partners and obtained an oil mill list, which is company names and locations. In FY2023, we visited palm oil plantations and mills in order to obtain an understanding of the situation. We are determined to strengthen our engagement with suppliers to grasp the situation to address and deal with a wide range of social issues.

3. Group membership surveys
Every year, we conduct a membership survey of all employees (including agency workers) of the ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットup in Japan. By checking the working environment, interpersonal relationships in the workplace, compliance status, we identify issues and use them to make improvements.

4. Establishment of a grievance mechanism and remedies

The ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットup has internal and external helplines in place for all domestic group companies and some overseas affiliates, to report legal non-compliance, company rule violations, or harassment. We also have an external helpline that our business partners in Japan can use to report or raise any concerns.
Any concerns reported or raised by whistleblowers to these helplines will be treated as the “whistleblowing disclosure” as defined in the Whistleblower Protection Act, and they will be kept strictly confidential. The whistleblowers will be protected under the Act so that they will not be treated unfairly by the company.

The ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットup has the following mechanisms in place to identify and resolve as soon as possible any concerns about legal non-compliance, company rule violations, or harassment:

・External helplines

External helplines provided (in Japanese, English, and Chinese) for all domestic group companies and some overseas affiliates

・Compliance advisors

Compliance advisors appointed at all business entities and all domestic group companies

・Internal helplines

Internal helplines provided for staff to report or raise concerns by email or in writing.

2. Handling grievances raised by business partners
We have an external helpline that our business partners in Japan can use to report or raise any concerns, and we strictly protect the privacy of whistleblowers. We will promptly investigate any concerns that we receive to resolve them as soon as possible.

Currently, our multilingual helplines in Japan need improvement, and we do not have sufficient helplines available for overseas employees and business partners. We have identified this as a challenge, and we will continue to improve our grievance mechanisms.

5. Dialogue and consultation with stakeholders

We have regular dialogue and consultation between employees and management at the Health and Safety Committee to discuss workplace health and safety issues and make improvements as appropriate. Although we have not yet started dialogue with other stakeholders, we will soon begin discussing ドラクエ 11 カジノ ジャック ポットights issues with a range of stakeholders.

6. Training and awareness raising activities

In FY2023, the Calbee Group organized compliance training, including anti-harassment training, for all employees, from senior management, managers, to non-managerial staff, in the form of group training and e-learning.
