Main initiatives
Providing value through environmental communication
There is growing awareness and demand for products that show due consideration to social issues such as the environment and human rights. To communicate our initiatives, we strive to make our commitment to the environment more widely known and provide sustainable value to all our customers.
These initiatives include displaying environmental labels such as the RSPO Label*1 and Biomass Mark*2 on the product packaging and the forest certificatin mark on certified cardboard and paper packaging. In September 2022, we released a video about social issues surrounding palm oil and Calbee’s efforts to address the issues. We will continue to share information with customers and communicate our environmental commitment.
- *1 The RSPO Label is an eco label that is granted to products that have acquired a Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil supply chain certificate and are allowed to use it in accordance with stated regulations. It indicates that the product contributes to sustainable palm oil production.

Evolving and deepening our food communication
We hold dialogue with people of all generations through “food communication,” which shares the joy of food, the correct knowledge of food, and the importance of the global environment.
Food education programs
We want children to become aware of, think about, and act on their own regarding their eating habits. That’s why we offer educational programs that allow them to explore food in an enjoyable way, such as Calbee Snack School and Asa-Hello-Shiyo! School. In addition, we are running an “SDGs Learning Program” for junior anジャック ポット カジノenior high school students at the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel. We also work with external collaborators to communicate about food. For example, we are working with ARROWS Inc. to jointly create and provide a learning tool for elementary school children called “Let’s learn from Potato Chips! Food production for the future.”

Snacks Contest
Since 2011, Calbee has been organizing the Snacks Contest to gather new product ideas from children with the goal of teaching them the joy of manufacturing. The theme of the 13th contest (FY2024/3) was “Snacks that are caring for the Earth.” The top two winning entries from over 1,200 submitted were recreated by R&ジャック ポット カジノtaff.
