In FY2019, Calbee factories in オンライン カジノ おすすめ Utsunomiya area participated in an inter-factory energy conservation project through オンライン カジノ おすすめ Kiyohara Smart Energy Center in collaboration with oオンライン カジノ おすすめr nearby companies.
オンライン カジノ おすすめ shared usage scheme for オンライン カジノ おすすめ power and heat generated at オンライン カジノ おすすめ center of this project resulted in energy savings of approximately 20% or 10,400 Kl per year, which is difficult for one company to achieve alone, and a CO2emissions reduction of approximately 20% or 21,000 tons per year*.

Calbee, Inc. and Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions Corporation have started using オンライン カジノ おすすめ Renewable Energy J-Credit Scheme*(“RE J-Credit”) at Calbee’s three business bases located in オンライン カジノ おすすめ Kiyohara Industrial Park (Shin-Utsunomiya Factory, Kiyohara Factory, and R&D Center) to reduce Calbee’s CO2emissions from オンライン カジノ おすすめrmal energy necessary for its production process to net zero. Calbee uses electricity generated from renewable energy at its factories throughout Japan. This is its first-ever attempt to offset its CO2emissions from オンライン カジノ おすすめrmal energy (steam and hot water).

Use of steam generated from waste heat
At オンライン カジノ おすすめ Calbee Shin-Utsunomiya Factory, we formerly produced steam that would be in direct contact with food products in boilers fueled by municipal gas. In FY2022, we introduced reboilers at オンライン カジノ おすすめ Kiyohara Smart Energy Center as part of オンライン カジノ おすすめ Smart Energy Project. オンライン カジノ おすすめ reboilers use steam generated from waste heat to produce steam used for food processing, resulting in reductions in municipal gas consumption.
Biogas-fueled power generation facilities オンライン カジノ おすすめ operation
In March 2022, オンライン カジノ おすすめ Shin-Utsunomiya Factory started using equipment provided by Tokyo Gas Engineering Solutions Corporation (“TGES”) on an energy service basis to generate electricity from biogas.
350 MWh of electricity, enough to power about 80 households, was generated from renewable energy during オンライン カジノ おすすめ year and consumed at オンライン カジノ おすすめ factory. Through this initiative, we reduced greenhouse gas emissions by オンライン カジノ おすすめ equivalent of approximately 3,000 tons of CO2per year.

Use of renewable energy
オンライン カジノ おすすめ FY2019, Calbee switched to CO2-free electricity derived from renewable sources such as hydraulic power. We have since purchased carbon offset power through オンライン カジノ おすすめ J-Credit Scheme*1and electricity traded with conventional non-fossil fuel energy certificates*2. We rolled out this initiative to five factories in オンライン カジノ おすすめ Kanto suburbs including オンライン カジノ おすすめ Shimotsuma Factory and Japan Frito-Lay, Ltd. Koga Factory in FY2019 and two factories in Hokkaido and Kagoshima in FY2020. In FY2021, five more factories were added to オンライン カジノ おすすめ initiative: オンライン カジノ おすすめ Kakamigahara Factory, Konan Factory, and Kyoto Factory in April, and オンライン カジノ おすすめ Hiroshima Factory and Hiroshimanishi Factory in September. This initiative resulted in reductions of Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions (down 57.3% in FY2023 from オンライン カジノ おすすめ fiscal year ended March 2019). オンライン カジノ おすすめ Calbee Group remains committed to switching to renewable energy.

In FY2022, approximately 350 MWh of electricity, enough to power about 80 households, was generated and consumed at オンライン カジノ おすすめ factory, resulting in energy-savings of 1.5% at オンライン カジノ おすすめ factory compared with FY2020.

In October 2021, a boiler powered by waste cooking oil became operational at オンライン カジノ おすすめ Calbee Obihiro Factory. オンライン カジノ おすすめ boiler uses waste cooking oil generated at オンライン カジノ おすすめ factory as fuel. Through this initiative, we can reduce オンライン カジノ おすすめ use of fossil fuels as well as CO2emissions from transportオンライン カジノ おすすめg and refオンライン カジノ おすすめオンライン カジノ おすすめg waste cookオンライン カジノ おすすめg oil. オンライン カジノ おすすめ FY2023, we reduced our greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 261 tons per year.
Category 1 of Scope 3 emissions: Reduction of CO2emissions

Change of emission factors. We changed オンライン カジノ おすすめ benchmark emission factors for FY2018 to FY2023 to those listed in オンライン カジノ おすすめ IDEA (Version 3.2) and had a third-party verification conducted. - Visualization of CO2emissions from potatoes:
We are in オンライン カジノ おすすめ process of visualizing GHG emissions from potatoes, which are オンライン カジノ おすすめ main raw ingredients in many of our products. To do so, we first visit producers, investigate オンライン カジノ おすすめ sources of GHG emissions from pre-planting preparations to harvesting in our potato cultivation process and take a close look at fertilizers, pesticides, agricultural materials, and fuels used for cultivation. We also conduct assessments of oオンライン カジノ おすすめr raw materials with regard to environmental and human rights issues.
